Price, main specs inside.<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">In the recent past, Bajaj has been on a spree to launch new performance motorcycles in India and they're still not done with it. Moreover, their partner in crime, Kawasaki, is also going to join them soon. Kawasaki is planning to give us Indians the taste of their performance and reliability once again. The dishes in the oven this time are the already talked-about naked Z250SL, the fully fared typical mid-sized superbike ZX6R 636 and and a <i>Harley-type</i> (yeah, that's a custom-term I hear a lot from laymen!) cruiser Vulcan S.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmyhiU1td9ek5o9ikoGp__L7w_C289AuoCfaj3QCA7205emk-IjdHiTecqhuTJ5Y6QYUnHDKLmLAE_LorMiunzQn7hZW2OhKPs_STpa9cVtRTib_3X85LELlGydvOZuy3dGL5r1JKbR1DL/s1600/maxresdefault.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmyhiU1td9ek5o9ikoGp__L7w_C289AuoCfaj3QCA7205emk-IjdHiTecqhuTJ5Y6QYUnHDKLmLAE_LorMiunzQn7hZW2OhKPs_STpa9cVtRTib_3X85LELlGydvOZuy3dGL5r1JKbR1DL/s1600/maxresdefault.jpg" height="360" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The Z250SL can prove to be a good choice for those who want a premium quarter litre-machine for urban use or sports touring(lack of proper sports tourers) and can't afford the steeply priced Z250R. Though, a single cylinder compared to a twin makes a lot a difference, but then that's what Kawasaki is ready to serve you at that budget. The bike will be powered by a single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC motor capable of churning out 27.62bhp of power at 9700 revs and 22.6Nm of torque at 8200 revs. You can expect the simple soothing dessert in your plate in 2nd or3rd quarter of current year at the estimated price of INR 2 Lacs.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWQRdXIwJFeWDPnkfrbmvVtnpLfqntH3IZerEcyoil8K130ftstWa-_YC0gm6Cbn26yhx-H67Xp37CHrs_EqbN7egZ1fA9HBVByeyfYKZOjtC6opFvzmPgUOQe-Lf4O50Ox336OOjgDpbO/s1600/Ninja_ZX6R_636.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWQRdXIwJFeWDPnkfrbmvVtnpLfqntH3IZerEcyoil8K130ftstWa-_YC0gm6Cbn26yhx-H67Xp37CHrs_EqbN7egZ1fA9HBVByeyfYKZOjtC6opFvzmPgUOQe-Lf4O50Ox336OOjgDpbO/s1600/Ninja_ZX6R_636.jpg" height="430" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The Ninja ZX6R 636 will we a pure mid-sized superbike with an inline-four engine geometry having total capacity of 636cc. The revv-happy IL4 motor will give you the power of 129 horses when you twist your wrist till the engine hits 13,500 revs. The torque of 70Nm at 11,500 revs will be there at your disposal. You can expect the goodies like slipper clutch, ABS and Traction Control on this mid-sized monster coming in your reach at around INR 11-13 Lacs.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUKxLvRPOrROcb3v6zwcAGUfRpRFyBh2YTMV3jQdJtrXcTtBPZ9PJ4tvuypKvw1gUhl_EADNLcG26_iuI43yUOIdCdnoFSbgjt8ot7GnchXngalTVYiLT0Pxg67izu9d2wvXr7Lb32fW8k/s1600/Vulcan+S.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUKxLvRPOrROcb3v6zwcAGUfRpRFyBh2YTMV3jQdJtrXcTtBPZ9PJ4tvuypKvw1gUhl_EADNLcG26_iuI43yUOIdCdnoFSbgjt8ot7GnchXngalTVYiLT0Pxg67izu9d2wvXr7Lb32fW8k/s1600/Vulcan+S.jpg" height="452" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Keeping the cruiser-lover motorcycle junkies happy, the Japanese company will offer the Vulcan S with a 649cc twin-pot heart beating under the saddle of the existing Ninja 650R. The heart pumps out the power of 60 horses with the tacho needle hitting 7500 mark and the torque of 63Nm at 6600 revs. Expect it to be low-slung with saddle and foot pegs adjustment and an optional ABS. If you're eying this one then be ready to make your pocket go INR 6 Lacs lighter.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">While the Z250SL and Vulcan S are expected to come as Completely-Knocked-Down units, the ZX6R 636 will probably hit the market through the CBU route.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Bajaj has been on a spree of launching new models off late, with bringing out Pulsar RS200, AS200 and AS150 within a tiny span of time. And they don't seem in the mood of stopping either. If the blokes at an online automobile based website Motoroids are to believed, the Pulsar CS400 is not very far from getting its share of daylight. If we go by some earlier reports, the motorcycle manufacturer had planned to introduce 6 new models under brand Pulsar in 6 months. Out of which, we have already seen the RS200, AS200 and AS150. The CS400 could very well be one of the rest three. Or atleast, we'd like it to be!</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span></div>
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The Managing Director, Rajiv Bajaj, gave some cues on the launch of Adventure Sports line up saying "<i>We would like to see the 400 to debut as a power cruiser as we had shown in the last Auto Expo… also stated to be launched at some point in this financial year. So when that happens the Pulsar 400 would be the next flagship of the Pulsar brand.</i>"</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqU5dIbEQDjKTRUIjCE7nqQ25G_fQis704twXSscjyp_gfCr8OUMuMJEd88-HXTa5U7sLyx756frf2J1_x6jfzA4ibHF6wBLsBYh3VJ3Po_KLsi8HUpnimulEeAeUuy6NjSJV4c2RnG6bs/s1600/DSC_1619a.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqU5dIbEQDjKTRUIjCE7nqQ25G_fQis704twXSscjyp_gfCr8OUMuMJEd88-HXTa5U7sLyx756frf2J1_x6jfzA4ibHF6wBLsBYh3VJ3Po_KLsi8HUpnimulEeAeUuy6NjSJV4c2RnG6bs/s1600/DSC_1619a.jpg" height="320" width="267" /></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">If we go with what we saw at Auto Expo 2014, the CS400 will most probably be put forward as a premium motorcycle. With a lot of goodies that you find on high-end bikes were seen on the motorcycle Bajaj showed in Auto Expo. Perimeter frame, upside-down forks at front, a monoshock at rear, fully digital instrument console, multi-peice LED Headlamp, funky tailpiece, a chunky swingarm, a stylish exhaust canister are some of the goodies to be named.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The statement from Rajiv Bajaj calls the CS400 as power cruiser, and that it will be! With a 400cc single cylinder motor it sports, the bike would most probably be churning power close to 40PS. That is more than enough power to cruise on our beloved Indian highways. Though, We'd love to see a AS category variant of the 400, which could do more justice with the cruiser tag. Nevertheless, we would love to have it at our disposal even in the very streetfighter avatar.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Couldn't it be a promising motorcycle for most of the seasoned tourers and regular highway commuters? And what about the handful of pro-stunters we have in your country. Wouldn't it be even better to see them performing art on our Desi built machines? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.</span></div>

Says they are too dangerous for public roads.<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<pre style="text-align: justify; white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The new (ok, not so!) motorcycle manufacturer KTM, who has managed to grab the eyeballs of motorcycle enthusiasts in India, just made a statement which might sound heartbreaking to most of us. KTM has officially declared that they will not be making street-legal superbikes anymore. The logic they justify this bitter decision being that these machines have gone too far in the quest of more and more power and now in no way represent practicality. The international motorcycle industrty has just recently seen every major manufacturer bringing out their flagship models with power output crossing the 200bhp mark. This much of power is nowhere close to what any rider would use on the public roads. The practicality has taken a back seat and these monsters are, for sure, can prove to be quite dangerous if unleashed on public roads. Well, all this has been KTM's logic to come up to the decision of stopping the manufacturing of superbikes for public roads.</span></pre>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<pre style="text-align: justify; white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a name='more'></a></span></pre>
<pre style="word-wrap: break-word;"><div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; white-space: pre-wrap;">Stefan Pierer’s shocking announcement came in response to a question regarding KTM’s return to MotoGP in 2016. Here’s the reason for returning to MotoGP:</span></div>
<span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="text-align: justify;">
<i>We’d like to produce a successor to the existing RC8 V-twin… In which case, let’s do the following: We’ll stick to making a Superbike, but only for closed course usage. So it won’t be homologated for sale as a streetbike. Okay? So then to produce that we will take the best prototype development arena available, which is MotoGP. And for the 2016 season there will be new rules introduced when the playing field will be leveled with a standard electronic system, so then KTM can challenge Honda, Yamaha, Ducati, Suzuki and Aprilia on an equal basis. So that’s the concept for development. We’ll call it the RC16 and it will also be available for the normal customer for track days or private use on track, but it won’t any more be homologated for the street. It’ll be a really serious sports and race item for closed course use only.</i></blockquote>
Just to make sure he was hearing things correctly, Cathcart pressed the KTM CEO and asked if there would be at least a homologated version of this machine? In answer, Pierer again said “No, because we at KTM think that a sportbike with such performance doesn’t have any place on the public roads.”
He continues:
</span></span><blockquote class="tr_bq">
<i><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">But let’s be honest, if your Superbike is reaching 200 horsepower or more, it’s impossible to argue that it belongs on the street. It really doesn’t, anymore.</span></span><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">
</span></span><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As soon as the RC16 is available for customers we will stop with the RC8. The design is outstanding. I would say it’s still state of the art, and there is nothing else like it. It’s a classic Superbike. But with the increase in safety concerns, I’m afraid bikes like this don’t belong on the street, only on a closed course.</span></span></i></blockquote>
<span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While the enthusiast in all of us could never stop yearning for more such powerful machines coming out, but we couldn't help agreeing to Pierer's logic and reasoning to some extent. What are your thoughts about this? Feel free to share in the comments section below.</div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Looks like the chaps at Bajaj Auto have sworn of raining the market with their products off late. While the new RS200 is still keeping people busy gawking wide-eyed on it, the automaker has already put forward another potential crowd-puller in front of us. Today, they have launched another line-up into their products, calling it <i>Adventure Sports</i>. The new line-up, as the name itself suggests, is to comprise sports touring and probably off-roading focused motorcycles. As of now, they have placed two if their much anticipated new products in the line-up, namely Pulsar AS200 and PulsarAS150. These motorcycles are essentially great options for touring enthusiasts who have always felt neglected in the <i>crazy-for-faired-machines</i> kind of market we have here.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Royal Enfield has bumped back in the game after they've brought the much liked Continental GT to the daylight. Performance enthusiasts, for whom the brand had become a big name from history, yet again started eyeing the brand. The cafe racer reawakened performance-lovers' hopes from the brand and seems like the company is on the right path to deliver what is hoped. People at an motorcycling related website called BikePortal came up with a set of images of a Royal Enflied which doesn't look like the usual ones.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXAtvhWHgdYHM5Lfv0LxLdOA5wWcVT28kxI2R6RDcdEOqKDByI8OIN6Df-Bhcup6e55m8atVwyKW_jEOlzeA9cAVovqncN7FMoUIGeQteg4P1olzq8bA5goh78OHeXnjoJTkKsXfrcUOZC/s1600/aacd337167f234c1b6c62d53e60e2cf4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXAtvhWHgdYHM5Lfv0LxLdOA5wWcVT28kxI2R6RDcdEOqKDByI8OIN6Df-Bhcup6e55m8atVwyKW_jEOlzeA9cAVovqncN7FMoUIGeQteg4P1olzq8bA5goh78OHeXnjoJTkKsXfrcUOZC/s1600/aacd337167f234c1b6c62d53e60e2cf4.jpg" height="306" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">The images show a Royal Enfield Continental GT but if you look closer, the engine plonked on it is not what the bike comes with. It is a twin-cylinder motor. There have been rumours and speculations earlier that this might be a mod-job but the way things are turning, it is now believed that it can be a test mule by Royal Enfield itself. The engine could most probably be of 700-750 cubic capacity. As can be seen from the images, it is an inline, or rather parallel twin fed by 2 big carburettors breathing through free flow filters. If the speculations come true, the absence of fuel injection on a twin is a let-down. As obvious, it could be an idea to cut costs, but a bad one in my opinion.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Whatever list of goodies it comes with, a twin from Royal Enfield will be highly appreciated not just be the hardcore RE lovers in India, but worldwide. What do you think about it? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.</span></div>

Price, Specs, Bookings, all you need to know about it!<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Yesterday, International Business Times reported that <a href="http://lifeon-2-wheels.blogspot.in/search/label/Suzuki">Suzuki</a> has started booking the new <a href="http://lifeon-2-wheels.blogspot.in/search/label/Gixxer">Gixxer</a> SF in India for an advance payment of INR 5000. Later in the evening, some brochures leaked over internet revealed some important information about the bike including engine specifications, features of the motorcycle, colors on offer etc.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyyNwBEp9pioT5fgYk7wa4sFvapTsGh8yyMbccJ8DK3XIjBx2FD6e__dywa1AizJsr9B49qY8adjOCn5qLJkELj2mRy9C7Nb1WVoU_mPbYkbwljq3x3Y9tByxn-dNOv-7kkwXKu-4mpFdE/s1600/Gixxer-SF-fairing.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyyNwBEp9pioT5fgYk7wa4sFvapTsGh8yyMbccJ8DK3XIjBx2FD6e__dywa1AizJsr9B49qY8adjOCn5qLJkELj2mRy9C7Nb1WVoU_mPbYkbwljq3x3Y9tByxn-dNOv-7kkwXKu-4mpFdE/s1600/Gixxer-SF-fairing.jpg" height="306" width="400" /></span></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">If folks at Motorbeam to be believed, then this upcoming faired Gixxer is expected to be introduced with a price tag of roughly 90 grands. That, if comes true, makes it the lowest priced fully-faired motorcycle available in the market as present. The new Gixxer is expected to be built over the same chassis as that of the present Gixxer150 sold by Suzuki. So, we can expect it to be dimensionally almost same as the existing Gixxer.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The bike will be powered by the same 154.9 cc single-cylinder engine churning out the power that measured 14.8PS at 9K RPM and the torque maxing out at the figure of 14Nm with tacho needle hitting 6K mark. The engine is expected to come mated with a 5-speed gearbox.The absence of liquid-cooling and other modern features contribute to Suzuki's ability to price a fully faired motorcycle at such price point.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Other features revealed from the brochures include a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock unit, a digital instrument console, LED tail lamp and the much talked about aerodynamic fairing. It is expected to hit the market on 7 April.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">While the current Gixxer variant is doing good for Suzuki and so it should, being a good product on offer after a long time by Suzuki India, we hope the faired avatar will do more good for the company which is still struggling to make its mark in Indian market even after years. Nevertheless, our country has an obsession over faired motorcycles and this should not be an exception either.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Keeping our fingers crossed for it, we would love to hear your thoughts about this motorcycle which can potentially make a difference to the fate of Suzuki India. You are welcome to put the comment section below at work.</span></div>

Receive 300 bookings in the first week itself!<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">It hasn't been so long ago when DSK shook hands with the Italian motorcycle maker Benelli to bring some of their offerings to Indian market. Hardly a fortnight ago, DSK-Benelli announced the prices for their current offerings in the market and they have already received 300 bookings. Considering the presence of Benelli in India and the recent past of DSK, the bikes aren't priced too low if not a bit on the higher side. But the Italian beauties have still managed to get a good start. Though, it is too early to say anything as they are quite new here and the sales as well as service network is not quite well established yet either. But the way things are turning up at initial level deserve to have a corner of every enthusiast's eye on the company's progression.</span></div>

All prices are ex-showroom. However, the company </span><span style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">has mentioned that the after sales and service back up is in place to cater to the requirements of customers. An emergency break-down service is also available at any time of the day through the year. I, for the love of motorcycles, would surely like to see these Italian beauties prosper in here.</span></span><br />

Back then, it was a joy to the ears of touring and offroading enthusiasts in India when Hero MotoCorp announced about the launch of its 'Transroader', a word Hero used to describe its Onroad/Offroad motorcycle, Impulse. When it was finally launched, the numbers in the sales sheets went pretty well initially. But on a longer run, it was constantly losing the numbers compared to as expected on the sales front. The downfall can, ofcourse, be attributed to the underpowered mill doing its duty under its saddle. However, sensing the problem, Munjal(s) decided to halt its production which was dissappointing for a large number of enthusiasts as it was one of a kind.Though the bike was discontinued with a note stating that they'll bring the great product back with bigger displacement motor.<br />

<br />
<a name='more'></a>Coming back to present, Hero is going soon going to launch its to-be flagship product HX250R. And if rumours are to be believed, they are also working on a 250cc Impulse which could do justice to the 'Transroader' tag. The bike is supposed to share the engine with the HX250R. If it turns out to be true, then the bike would have enough power to be a fun element for offroading, and be a great companion for those who love to go secluded and untouched places like Spiti. The engine makes 31bhp and torque of 26Nm, though the engine will most probably be tweaked to deliver the torque in lower rev range to suit the offroading nature of the bike. Though there is no concrete source behind the information, but it would be a great product to have in our market.<br />

After the news about Pulsar 200AS being spotted along with 200RS doing rounds on internet, the smaller Pulsar 150AS is reported to be spotted testing by someone at Autocar. As can be guessed from the pictures through that huge watermark, the motorcycle borrows its design and asthetics from the bigger sibling 200AS. The engine though being a 150cc liquid-cooled, triple spark one churning out 17PS of power and 13Nm of torque.<br />

The front has a bikini faring emerging from the tank and embracing the handlebars with a headlamp protruding out of it. Handlebars are usual clip-ons behind a tall windshield which goes well with the naming convention that stands for Adventure Sports. The traditional twin spring suspension found on the old Pulsar 150 has given way to the new mono-shock unit.<br />

<br />
The new 150 is now built over the perimeter frame which registered its entry into the Pulsar brand with the 200NS. Exhaust has also been moved under the engine so as to help with the mass centralization. Rest of the visible changes include a split seat, rearsets in footpegs, 20-0NS styled side-panels at the rear and the newer alloy wheels as seen on other new gen Pulsars.<br />
<br />
What are your thoughts about the new Pulsar 150AS? Is it a good add-on into the Pulsar brand product line, or it is another On/Offroader which might feel a bit low at power for the kind of its duty?</div>

Files patents!<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Suzuki is all set to revolutionize the motorcycling industry with their sleeves folded. The Suzuki Recursion concept motorcycle is their weapon this time. A semi-faired urban styled bike that looks great but nothing too futuristic at first look is powered by a 588cc water-cooled twin-cylinder engine. Though the striking point lies in its possession of a turbocharger with an intercooler.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRK_OckrGK67RsZ8n_6Gvj2rnmw5acY8yHwR6LGtSbxo1v4AqXHxyQccUyRzY0bua2je248-DzHAjo7dD06RwSXo4xOSp23QOp8INJzYXWcGjoAXt_22VKl9zXa-8VdlUW2z_pJYGcLYDY/s1600/suzuki-recursion-turbo-concept-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRK_OckrGK67RsZ8n_6Gvj2rnmw5acY8yHwR6LGtSbxo1v4AqXHxyQccUyRzY0bua2je248-DzHAjo7dD06RwSXo4xOSp23QOp8INJzYXWcGjoAXt_22VKl9zXa-8VdlUW2z_pJYGcLYDY/s1600/suzuki-recursion-turbo-concept-01.jpg" height="282" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The turbocharger helps the machine to offer a big-displacement power figures with middleweight bulk, resulting in a powerful yet light and quite nimble sportsbike. A bike that has the power in three-figures and handling characteristics of a 500cc motorcycle. Doesn't it sound a recipe too delicious? Well, mouth-watering it is. With its engine churning out 100bhp of power and 100Nm torque, it could be a beginning of a new era of motorcycles.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijmN8S7mPOt_QqJxQKRfdmNdqUlD72Gd6ZWuu2A2y72Tj7uNc0UyNm0Eml90qtQXAjdEKN8Zbs2dVaYwSzqKiOwBVAjqNlXMLEa6oz9w6mvtRgm9Cd-UbxSBpthRake55Gg9W9Ye5ctFOE/s1600/032615-Suzuki-Recursion-Supercharged-patent-07-633x514.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijmN8S7mPOt_QqJxQKRfdmNdqUlD72Gd6ZWuu2A2y72Tj7uNc0UyNm0Eml90qtQXAjdEKN8Zbs2dVaYwSzqKiOwBVAjqNlXMLEa6oz9w6mvtRgm9Cd-UbxSBpthRake55Gg9W9Ye5ctFOE/s1600/032615-Suzuki-Recursion-Supercharged-patent-07-633x514.jpg" height="259" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The turbocharger, as placed at the front-bottom of the engine in contrast to the Kawasaki H2R, seems to be operating on the exhaust gases in order to suck the air from surroundings. The air is then fed to the intercooler which is located right under the front seat. Suzuki has filed 2 patents for the concept Recursion. One being for a simple configuration that has a pipe bypassing the intercooler which is fitted with a valve to feed more air at the time of rapid acceleration. And the second one, the more complex one, has a hollow gap in the intercooler. An air duct below the headlamps feeds the cool airflow to the gap inside the intercooler, from where the airflow exits near the rear wheel.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The idea is not a new one, and is something that can already be seen making headway in the automotive world. Able to offer more horsepower per litre, and more horsepower per physical cubic inch, forced induction systems have become a new way for manufacturers to make lighter and more efficient vehicles — a critical undertaking as fuel prices continue to rise.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbZYHH1qIJBf8VjgWQD0hHIMGs7Ii2XOS7JUYC7K0-5gTJKVbc3lVQs4hUyK-GRm4rewE-VXF5GYbI_X9Dq1YmNzeSTNQh0kZ5ZjKh4QwrbM8SXG5TXJYBS2wxm1ShO5Npw58pFB0fJkIp/s1600/more-turbo-patents-from-suzuki-may-indicate-a-new-trend-93874_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbZYHH1qIJBf8VjgWQD0hHIMGs7Ii2XOS7JUYC7K0-5gTJKVbc3lVQs4hUyK-GRm4rewE-VXF5GYbI_X9Dq1YmNzeSTNQh0kZ5ZjKh4QwrbM8SXG5TXJYBS2wxm1ShO5Npw58pFB0fJkIp/s1600/more-turbo-patents-from-suzuki-may-indicate-a-new-trend-93874_1.jpg" height="282" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
While motorcycles have been more immune to the pressures of fuel prices, the ability to offer litre-bike power in a middleweight’s body is an attractive proposition that should perk the ears of any two-wheeled enthusiast. Will Suzuki build the Recursion concept as a production machine? That remains to be seen. But we, the motorcycling enthusiasts will always love to have something like this available in the market.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">KTM chief, Stefan Pierer announced that the Austrian two-wheeler manufacturer of which Bajaj Auto owns 47 per cent share plans to enter the world of premier class racing. Speaking to Speedweek he revealed KTM’s plan of returning to MotoGP by the 2017 season. For this purpose it has developed the KTM RC16 that will be powered by a V4 powerplant. The KTM RC16 will be unveiled by 2016 after which the Austrian bikemaker will carry out testing and developing. There is also speculation that KTM would jump the gun and field the RC16 prototype as a wild-card entry in the 2016 season of MotoGP itself. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd8XBxTpdRT1Or8IlMVBoUgkczrMmqqgYqeY-wohX9ykLXYpnMRBm92kDTGZmgiIR1afNSB3eRNZ_Cg2sKfFtzPz4tGOQd6CJyMVdyk1MD3V5MwyeEO8RFLFGhtWRzEEQL4Xi_XG1EJ6TU/s1600/ktm-motogp-2017-pic-image-photo-01082014-m1_560x420.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjd8XBxTpdRT1Or8IlMVBoUgkczrMmqqgYqeY-wohX9ykLXYpnMRBm92kDTGZmgiIR1afNSB3eRNZ_Cg2sKfFtzPz4tGOQd6CJyMVdyk1MD3V5MwyeEO8RFLFGhtWRzEEQL4Xi_XG1EJ6TU/s1600/ktm-motogp-2017-pic-image-photo-01082014-m1_560x420.jpg" height="480" width="640" /></a></span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">What will really strike the two-wheeler enthusiasts is the fact that KTM will produce a limited run of close to 100 units of the RC16. Expect the KTM RC16 to be loaded with a plethora of electronic wizardry; V4 motor pumping out around 200PS of peak power, a steel trellis frame, WP sourced top-spec suspension and ample use of carbon fibre to keep the weight low. It is expected that the KTM RC16 will retail for around Rs 1.2 to 1.5 crore and should be a great track tool for millionaire racer boys.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Coming back to MotoGP, one of the main reasons for KTM returning back to MotoGP according to Pierer is the standardisation of ECU, which is a move by the governing body in reducing cost of premiere class racing. It is still unclear whether KTM would participate as a factory team or will be supplying machines to privateers similar to what it does currently in Moto3. KTM isn’t the only two-wheeler giant planning to enter the world of premiere class racing as Suzuki is all set to make a comeback in the 2015 season and Aprilia will bring in its prototype bike in 2016. </span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">There are countless practices one should follow in order to increase their safety while riding the tiniest and arguably the vehicle on which the traveller is most vulnerable to damage. While there's always a scope of learning no matter how experienced you are, this article is an effort to bring forward some very basic practices which everyone of us can follow without the need of much investment and technical know-how.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGB8IZW9c8xijw3H3C2AyQRHLzahI49gFn8PQC6BBwdcfPn1hAwMBt0FhzlsquvLrFAWLnweY_-a5FgXTolWL-LDHgdytctwCWtZGwj3BakeuhyphenhyphenddrItGc-ugGjZ5PpEgkFqfbXlrHdTQz/s1600/Motorcycle+Safety1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGB8IZW9c8xijw3H3C2AyQRHLzahI49gFn8PQC6BBwdcfPn1hAwMBt0FhzlsquvLrFAWLnweY_-a5FgXTolWL-LDHgdytctwCWtZGwj3BakeuhyphenhyphenddrItGc-ugGjZ5PpEgkFqfbXlrHdTQz/s1600/Motorcycle+Safety1.jpg" height="223" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"></span></div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><b>#1 Always wear helmet</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Wearing a helmet is the first and foremost step you can take towards safe riding. While most of the people commuting around use helmets with the sole purpose of escaping a challan ticket from their local traffic police department, they do not understand that their brain (if only they have any) is of much more worth than the amount they to be paid for the challan they are escaping. For instance, in India the fine against helmetless riding is 100 INR. Ask yourself! Is your brain worth less than a hundred bucks? Some might argue that that helmets spoil their hairstyle. I guess the image below should ring some bells. Moreover, wearing just a helmet for the sake of it is almost as good as no helmet. Make sure your helmet is certified, fits you snugly and you always fasten the strap.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><b>#2 Use both brakes</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">During our learning phase, almost everyone of us in the Indian subcontinent was fed with the approach 'do not touch the front brake, its dangerous'. In fact, most of the 2-wheelers our previous generation owned had their front brakes disabled, either by cutting off the cable (yes, our 2-wheelers did not have discs/hydraulic brakes back then) or by cutting short the brake lever itself. Another approach that surfaced mostly in youngsters or in the developed countries having disc brakes was to use only the front one. Why? Because its sharper, efficient and has a lot more bite than the rear. Well, both these approaches are wrong. Both the brakes are there in the vehicles for some purpose and none is useless. You should use both of them. The front brake primarily does the job of bringing your vehicle at halt or reducing your speed and the rear brake works in order to stabilize your vehicle. All braking force at front and none at rear might end up either in lifting your rear up or your front losing the traction in case of hard braking. In normal conditions when you apply brakes while riding straight and on good roads, the braking force distribution should be 70-30. 70% on front and 30% on the rear. Though in special cases like braking on wet tarmac, on gravel or while negotiating a curve, you should adaptively vary the braking distribution to keep the tyres from giving up the already reduced traction.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><br /></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><b>#3 Watch your speed</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Everyone likes to ride fast. Why? Because speed thrills! But remember, the speed thrills but also kills. If you ride like there's no tomorrow, there're more chances there won't be. You just cannot ride as fast you ride on a highway on the city roads. Your speed should vary with the amount of traffic on the road. Also with the kind of the road your are riding. A road meant for lower speeds is not made with the same material an expressway is made of. It wouldn't offer your tyres the same level of grip. Moreover, if you're riding on a wet road, the traction decreases further. Then come the limits of your bike and your own.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><b>#4 Know the limits</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">EVeryone of us want to see yourself riding like a pro. And some of us might consider us one already. But don't forget that no matter how skilled a rider you are, you (being a human being) and your vehicle still have some limits. There is a limit to the quickness of reflex actions of human body. No matter how much skills do you have, your brain takes certain amount of time to process the information it gets from your vision and trigger a reaction. Yes, it all happens in just fractions of a second but so does a collision at high speeds. Apart from the limits of human body, you also need to know the limits of your motorcycle. A Splendor, platina or a regular scoot does not offer as much control and braking ability as an Apache or an R15 would do. At the same time, an Apache or R15 does not offer the control and braking ability a Ninja would do. And the list goes further up.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;">#5 Keep distance</span></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Its is always important to keep distance from the vehicles travelling in front of you. Nobody likes a tailgater. Tailgating (riding/driving very close to the vehicle in front) might make the rider/driver in front of you annoyed or aggressive and that increases the chances of of mishap.You would prefer calm fellow motorists compared to the mad ones anyday, won't you? Moreover, the vehicle in front might panic brake seeing something not visible to you from behind and you reacting after they've already slammed the brakes hard might not have enough time to avoid collision. Also, mostly cars have a better braking ability due to 4 wheels present to get the traction in place of just two in our case. So if you are riding behind a car, your vehicle won't be able to come to halt in the same braking distance as the car would, even if you start braking right at the moment the car does.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><b>#6 Use signals</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Use signals while making a change in your riding trajectory, or even in your speed. The fellow motorists are not witches. They won't be able to read your mind if you're going to change a lane, take a turn or maybe slow down. Some are even stupid to see you changing the lane even slowly. Signaling is always a safe bet. There are various signals that alert the fellow motorists about your expected action like turn indicators, brake light,pass light etc. and some hand signals in absence of any of these. Using signals before any taking any such action would alert the fellow motorists and reduce the risk of people crashing into you because of being unaware of your sudden act.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: x-large;"><b>#7 Be Seen</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">2-wheelers being smallest vehicles on the road are many times involved in the accident just because the bigger vehicles didn't see them. Sometimes its because of their ignorance but sometimes its not even their mistake. Being a tiny vehicle, we might not be visible to them if we are riding in their blind spots. The bigger vehicles not being open air from all sides like ours have certain blind spots. Like the back pillars or a car, the area of their back and sides their mirrors do not cover etc. And there are even blind spots of human eyes which are there in case of even even motorcyclists. Be aware of such spots and avoid riding there. </span></div>

After a lot of speculations and renderings based on them, the 2015 Yamaha R1 has been seen in action in Sydney. As speculated, its is going to get very serious upgrade this year. The image, though its not very clear, can only show you the cosmetic changes. Some are arguing about whether it is an R1 or R6 but if reporting of the picture taker is to be believed, it is definitely an R1 and not an R6.</div>

Whereas on the performance front, the bike is expected to get some serious bump in power. Uptill 2014, the bike was powered by the mill making 182 hp of power. This year the Japanese automaker will produce two versions of their flagship. One will be the street focused variant like the current production R1, and the other one will be an astoundingly powerful 230 hp variant that is also expected to have more performance goodies. The engine geometry is kept same as inline-4, though the manufacturer have done some serious tweaking to make it produce peak power with such major increase.</div>

<span style="text-align: justify;">One of their high officials describing this new product says, "</span><i style="text-align: justify;">Slingshot was designed to deliver head turning exhilaration on two dimensions. First is the exhilaration that you can see, hear, and feel while riding in Slingshot. Second is the exhilaration you feel when people turn their heads to stare at Slingshot’s unique and exotic styling.</i><span style="text-align: justify;">" The automaker also claims that the low centre of gravity, sport spec suspension and wide chassis makes it a cornering junky.</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
On the specs front, this exotic roadster is powered by a GM's 2.4 litre dual-overhead cam engine producing peak power equating 173 horses and ground sweeping 225Nm of torque for a low-slung vehicle which weighs as low as 770 kg. All thanks to high strength steel spaceframe, a lightweight aluminum swingarm fo keeping the weight so low. Coupled with a mind blasting acceleration and astounding cornering abilities, it also possesses modern gizmos such as ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), Traction Control and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). However, Polaris clarifies that the Slingshot is put into the motorcycle category. So, there are no airbags and the vehicle is not designed to meet the automotive crash standards. The rider and the passenger need to wear helmets and the driver needs to hold a motorcycle driving licence.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The reknowned German automaker BMW has been caught testing a motorcycle which could most probably compete with the Ducati Multistrada for being a highly multipurpose (or rather, multi-terrain) premium motorcycle in the world. The BMW S1000F will be Bavarians' much awaited answer to Multistrada and will be based on their flagship motorcycle, the faired S1000RR. It is expected that the bike will make its first public appearance at Intermot 2014 in October.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD6DmIcVyL3-0QBp0ZI7scJ0UZooFMoOCXtsWfbW2BkDAPUg2Wax57zwYCnui1IT-zfzI_Q1rzLyHdBx-aFfc_lYin5PUN8PWYy7Bo0RbzYcyFLjk3u7_kbarRSFM00-_BkZVDFk_mq6lm/s1600/bmw-s1000rt_spypic2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD6DmIcVyL3-0QBp0ZI7scJ0UZooFMoOCXtsWfbW2BkDAPUg2Wax57zwYCnui1IT-zfzI_Q1rzLyHdBx-aFfc_lYin5PUN8PWYy7Bo0RbzYcyFLjk3u7_kbarRSFM00-_BkZVDFk_mq6lm/s1600/bmw-s1000rt_spypic2.jpg" height="133" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The motorcycle is reported to have borrowed the S1000RR's powertrain detuned to match up with the character of the bike. The peak power of the bike should be around 150bhp, and its delivery pattern altered compared to the faired supersport sibling. Baring the heart, the motorycycle will have the same exhaust, but a taller suspension and comfortable posture.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Apparently, the design cues are also borrowed from the S1000RR and no doubt, it looks no less than the bikes it will be placed against, namely,Ducati Multistrada, Aprillia Caponord, KTM 1190 adventure and the likes. Although, the company already has the much successful hardcore adventure bikes placed under the tag of GS series, this bike will be targeted to the more premium customers wanting a single all-purpose motorcycle which can be comfortably ridden everywhere, be it a city, an offroad trail, plush highways or a racetrack.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Like the S1000RR, the S1000F will come with lots of gizmos such as Dynamic Damping Control, Traction Control, ABS, Ride-by-wire, Different engine mapping for different modes. Looks promising to compete against the yet undisputed winner Multistrada? Tell us your opinion on the bike.</span></div>

Launch date, Price and Details!<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">As Suzuki is desperate to make more presence in the Indian 2-wheeler market, they are all set to launch the new 150cc bike named as Suzuki Gixxer 150 in India on August 10. The name, taken from Suzuki's much reknowned superbike series GSX-R, is clearly put to use by the company in order to attract the customers by giving them a feel of being associated with a premium brandname. But not only the name, the bike surely looks much attractive in comparison with the models Suzuki have usually offered to Indian market till date. In fact, if you ask me, the bike has absolutely no issues with its looks unlike the rest of the Suzuki India's stable and is at par with the competition it will be facing in our market. The bike was already showcased by the Japanese automaker at Auto Expo 2014 in Delhi. It will compete against the like of Yamaha FZ 2.0, Honda Trigger, Hero Xtreme etc and will be offered at a price of around 73,000 INR.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The bike will be powered with a 150cc single cylinder air-cooled engine that will put out 14PS of power and 13.4Nm of torque. It is mated with a 5-speed transmission whereas the other 150cc offering by Suzuki, namely GS150R, sported a 6-speed transmission. In order to meet the usual quest of mileage in Indian automobile scenario, Suzuki has come up with what they call as SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) which will ensure better fuel efficiency without making compromise on the performance front. The engine and the chassis are said to be engineered by the same team which worked on the legendary GSX-R series superbikes and have ensured superior performance levels. The chassis is kept light and stiff to aid handling and the engine is built from the scratch so as to offer significant advantages over the rivals.</span></div>

The alloys are shod with 140/60-17 rubber at rear and 100/80-17 at the front. Other things like the muscular tank and the sporty exhaust end-can give the bike sporty and streetfighter looks.</span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
After the huge success of their existing lineup under the premium scooter brand Vespa, Piaggio came up with another scoot, namely, Vespa Exclusivo. It is based on Vespa VX 125, which is one of the three already existing Vespa models in Indian market. If one of the major newspaper-backed autmobile reporting platform is to be believed, another new scooter named Vespa Elegante will also be introduced in India which is also based on the same Vespa VX 125 but will have more tid-bits of styling and distinctiveness. The scooters will be powered by the same 125cc mill that serves the other Vespa models, churning 10PS of power and 10.6Nm of torque. The scooter can be expected to hit the market around September at around 79,000 INR to make the most out of festive season.</div>

The new model will be available in existing tendy colour offerings by Vespa as well as some new offerings like Pearl White and Marrakech Brown. Taking a leap forward in representing the retro styling image of the brandname Vespa, the retro styled split seats be one of the many things that will make the scooter stand out of the crowd. Some other design characteristics to be expected are the round headlamp, smart triangular front grille, tubeless tyres with a disc brake on the stopping duty at front.</div>

Despite the restriction on taking mobile devices into the room at Misano circuit, a fan has managed to capture the bike into a picture. The picture became public when it was put on facebook.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Recently, we all have seen the images and video of Yamaha R25 flaunting its top speed over the internet. Everyone, including me, was very much impressed and elated by the numbers appearing on the speedo and thought it was FAST!! But hold your horses, the much awaited Honda CBR 300R is no less either. The pics and video surfacing on the web put it right beside the quarter litre Yammie in terms of top speed, whereas it deserves praises in looks department too. The new baby CBR now really looks like a CBR (Fireblade) finally coming out of the "CBR which looks like a VFR" controversy. We bring you both avatars of the dope to get high on to!</div>

Mr. Yutaka Terada, a Yamaha official, said that R25 is a sportsbike you can ride everyday. Although it is a high revving machine, it will be easier to ride on daily-basis. It packs up a narrow valve angle and high compression ratio with sophisticated engine architecture for superior performance. Even the seat height is kept low as 780mm to make it easier to ride for the not-too-tall asian riders.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The bike nicknamed as Baby M1 is said to be inspired from M1 and has a predatory stance with those aggressive-looking twin headlamps having an air-duct in the middle, a sporty pilot lamp above them in the middle, tapered tail with LED taillights, multi-layered wrap-around fairings, aluminum alloys and wide tread tires. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: black; color: white; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Ducati has unveiled the new 899 Panigale which is said to replace the 848 Evo. This smaller sibling of the reknowned Panigale churns out 148bhp power at 10,750rpm and 99Nm of torque at 9,750rpm. It is lighter and more powerful than the 848 evo and resultantly, faster too. </span></div>

<span style="background-color: black;">The bike comes with advanced electronic goodies like DQS (Ducati QuickShifter), DTC (Ducati Traction Control), Ducati Riding Modes, Ducati Data Analyzer to help you on your track session and the EBC (Engine Braking Control).</span></div>
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: black; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: white;">If we look into the structure and frame of the bike, it is based on an all new monocoque chassis and the swingarm is a two-sided one unlike the bigger Panigale which sports a stylish single sided swingarm. The wheels are 17" 10-spoke alloys with the Pirelli Rosso Corsa 120/70Z R17 plonked at front and 180/60Z R17 at rear. As always, the brakes come from Brembo being 320mm twin discs with a radial mount 4-piston monobloc caliper at front and 2-pot single disc setup at rear, offering great stopping power to the rider. The ABS unit is a 3-stage switchable one (Racing, Sport and Wet mode).</span></span></div>

<i style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Following the successful entry into the Moto3 World Championship – KTM brought the World Championship title to Austria in the premiere year – and the completion of the Duke range of naked bikes with the 125, 200 and 390 displacement models, there will now also be a fully faired sports bike available for sale. In typical fashion, there is a direct connection to motorsports. The “ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM” will see the RC 390 in action for the first time worldwide as the exclusive motorcycle used in this Brand Cup competition.</i><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>Naturally it is not difficult for the sports motorcycle manufacturer from Mattighofen, Austria, to make the connection between racing and series production. In short: as always, KTM once again underlines that it is always “Ready to Race” in every aspect by presenting the RC 390 Cup at the eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.</i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i></i></span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i> </i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><span style="color: #cccccc;">KTM CEO Stefan Pierer: ”We developed a pure GP racing machine for the Moto3 World Championship. In contrast, the RC 390 Cup is based on a series model project. Both of these two projects were given the highest priority because the development of lower displacement, high quality street bikes are among our core activities.</span> <span style="color: #ea9999;">The new KTM RC 390, which will be available for sale in 2014 will meet a big demand for affordable, quality sport bikes for the lower displacement class.</span><span style="color: #cccccc;">”</span></i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>The KTM CEO adds: “Since 1993, ADAC has achieved a great deal with excellent work with up-and-coming riders in the Junior Cup. The promotion and support of young talent is also a very important aspect for KTM. We are happy to put a lot of energy into this because we actively engage in the promotion of young riders both in offroad sports and on asphalt. We are honestly thrilled that we will be able to support the ADAC Junior Cup as the KTM 390 Cup with all KTM bikes. Also because with ADAC we have a committed, reliable and strong partner in which everyone involved is a professional.”</i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><b>Ideal for young racers: KTM RC 390 Cup</b></i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>The primary development objective of the fully faired RC 390 Cup bike was to enable affordable junior racing with the best possible sporting potential. To achieve this, the Cup RC bike has a strong and reliable heart of the most modern kind. 375 cc displacement, four valve technology, liquid cooled, two oil pumps, electronic Dellorto fuel injection – these are the core features of the single cylinder, four stroke engine that is set to release around 38 horse power in the Cup bike and, which incidentally will be very fuel efficient even at full throttle.</i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>As well as having more than adequate performance for junior racers, the RC specifications portfolio also ensures the best possible ride-ability, reliability and service-friendly features. The primary intention of the Brand Trophy competition is to discover and promote talent among young riders. </i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>To suit the aerodynamically refined fairing, the RC 390 Cup comes with a high quality chassis together with the typical KTM tubular steel trellis frame. The lightweight, mesh robot-welded tubular steel combines precise handling with perfect stability at every speed. The robust construction is another plus in the event that the bike makes contact with the ground. It also provides easy access for maintenance. </i></span><br />
<span style="color: #cccccc; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><i>High quality suspension elements, developed together with WP Suspension as well as a performance-oriented four piston caliper braking system completes the youngster’s racing machine. Especially practical for sporting activities are the numerous PowerParts directly developed by KTM and the special accessories that will ensure both a professional and economical activity in the Brand Cup competition. Top modern, safe, efficient and fast: the RC 390 Cup plus the strong cooperation with ADAC hits the spot when it comes to what KTM envisages for motorsports for the younger generation.</i></span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh0Y72MtYjWeGul5RmgSoEsipMhb_x2LxnRnRFPYxzyyXuIIqjTukZetqaqEq4ymZjh_AQAAaBVm6vAQ3PXowXI1CIo782GtolL5wgzEZ_KHiJ_JgXpnxM8jo0fwUEfRyYj56WicI9lCF0/s1600/25433_1365484813137_1112136108_31118389_366553_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="474" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh0Y72MtYjWeGul5RmgSoEsipMhb_x2LxnRnRFPYxzyyXuIIqjTukZetqaqEq4ymZjh_AQAAaBVm6vAQ3PXowXI1CIo782GtolL5wgzEZ_KHiJ_JgXpnxM8jo0fwUEfRyYj56WicI9lCF0/s640/25433_1365484813137_1112136108_31118389_366553_n.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />Modifications, or as we commonly call them 'mods', are expected to be done in order to get some increase in our bikes' performance or even looks but what if they do more harm than benefit? Are they justified? Are they worth their ill-effects or cost?</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />Here we mention a few very common but worthless modifications done on bikes these days.</span><br />
<a name='more'></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /><b>Aftermarket Fairings</b></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br />The main motive behind a fairing of a bike is to increase its aerodynamics and help it go faster; but there are many factors kept in mind by the manufacturers while adding the fairing like the added weight, and the most important one being cooling of engine. Some people have got this so wrong that all they think a fairing does is make the bike look bigger and better. Every once in a while you will come across low capacity bikes with large, cheap made fairings which neither do any good in aerodynamics but also ruin the power-to-weight ratio of the bike by adding the extra weight. Also, it hampers the cooling of the engine as most of the lower capacity bikes are air-cooled and need good amount of air flow around the engine. Every time a 5 kilo fairing is added to a 150cc bike, a true biker dies somewhere in the world.<br /><br />Tip: If you want to make your bike go faster, focus on removing extra weight instead of adding it!</span><br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<b style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Un-tuned Exhausts</b><br />
<b style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></b>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00DePauVYIuHqz/Dirt-Bike-Alloy-Exhaust.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00DePauVYIuHqz/Dirt-Bike-Alloy-Exhaust.jpg" style="-webkit-user-select: none;" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><br /></b></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">We all know how free-flow exhausts can do wonders for a bike’s performance and bring out the beautiful sound of a bike’s engine. Making exhausts however is a precision job, as they actually need to be made in a manner that facilitates the exit of exhaust gases faster than your stock pipes. A lot of things like back pressure, the material used and its quality come into play. Many people however just want a louder exhaust; this is where a lot of people go wrong. A loud exhaust doesn’t always mean better performance! One needs to get an exhaust that was designed specifically for your bike’s engine and aids performance. The popular phrase says “Loud pipes, save lives”; what it doesn’t mention and takes for granted is that you should have the sense of getting an exhaust that does not kill you engine.</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /><br />Tip: Always try and go for branded exhausts which have been properly tested. If you get one locally made ensure the fabricator knows the math behind it.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Dummy Engine Covers</b><br /><br /><img src="http://www.biketoq.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/dummy-engine.jpg" /><br /><br />Dummy Engines or fake engine covers that people think make their motors look like V-Twins’ are almost disrespectful. Not only to the concept of V-Twin’s but also to whatever humble bike one uses them on. Most of the bikes these are used on are air-cooled engines and these dummy engines restrict the flow of air. That isn’t the only downside to these terrible cosmetic add-ons. They also add a small but unnecessary amount of weight to ones bike and most bikers understand that weight is the arch enemy of speed; an enemy that must at all times be beaten.<br /><br />Tip: Cherish your air-cooled single-cylinder, the appearance of a twin-cylinder may be tempting but using a Dummy engine cover is not the solution.</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Fake body Kits</b></span><img height="479" src="https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcThO0xjXkjtQg3vT2jOP84fXbUlk8TobnpYfZnhu5_NkxP2a9xr" style="-webkit-user-select: none;" width="640" /><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">There are people who are trying to make their bikes look good and then there are those who are almost embarrassing the biker community. There are no prizes for guessing that those who use fake body kits fall into the latter category. You may have seen bikes that look like R1s and Hayabusas but are actually 100-150cc commuters under the skin.</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /><br />These bikes are usually slower than even their stock counterparts and come nowhere close to the real deal. What makes these bikes even stupider is that fact, that their owners spend a lot of money in trying to make them look like genuine superbikes (But end up with a disproportionate product of pure ugliness!). In that same amount of money, a smart enthusiast could’ve gotten enough performance modification to bump up the power of these bikes. There is no substitute for real power. Amen.<br /><br />Tip: Do not burn your money on fake body kits, use that money on smart add-ons or better yet save up to buy an actual sportsbike!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b>Brand Stickers</b></span><br />
<a href="http://www.mfpilot.com/images/Traxxas2514Logos.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; display: inline !important; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="337" src="http://www.mfpilot.com/images/Traxxas2514Logos.jpg" style="-webkit-user-select: none;" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<div style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">
<a href="https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/p206x206/268873_199380153444106_1522064_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; display: inline !important; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/p206x206/268873_199380153444106_1522064_n.jpg" style="-webkit-user-select: none;" width="320" /></a><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">When you see a sticker that says “Monster Energy” or “K&N” on a race bike it actually means that the bike uses parts from those brands or has been sponsored by them. Slapping on stickers of popular brands makes sense if you’ve actually gone and got one of those products on your bike. However, true-blue stupid doesn’t even identify these brands. What we’re pointing towards here isn’t even the ghastly Ducati stickers on 8 Bhp bikes but those owners who proudly declare their bikes Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s.</span><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Tip: If you like stickers get stickers of your own brand or at least get a sticker that doesn’t declare your bike a four-wheel drive vehicle.<br /><br />What’s the most surprising and stupid bike modification you have ever seen on a bike?
