Indian Motorcycles unveiled its luxury tourer Roadmaster!

Indian Motorcycles has recently unveiled a new product called Roadmaster 2015 in the luxury tourer product-line. It revives the company's heritage from the original Roadmaster the company prodcued from 1947 to 1953. Indian Motorcycles hopes to bring back the popularity with this new 2015 model Roadmaster. The new motorcycle will be made public at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally this year.

The bike is powered by a 49 degree V-twin of 1.8 litre Thunder Stroke III engine which currently performs its duty on the Chieftain. The heart pumps out 138.9Nm of torque which will make the bike a pulling monster.

Indian Roadmaster is going to be loaded to the brim with a variety of top of the line features like plush leather covered seats, floorboards adjustable to passengers' comfort, a big adjustable windshield, keyless ignition and the typical Indian styled luggage carrying with a capacity of 143 litres and all of which will be weatherproof. Such features are surely going to make it stand out in the segment of luxury touring. Other gizmos that the bike comes with are ABS, Electronic Cruise Control, heated seats and grips, tyre pressure monitoring system, triple power ports, Pathfinder LED lighting, infotainment system offering communication, navigation and telephone apart from bluetooth connectivity.

 

The luxury tourer motorcycle will be availableto the customers in exchange of 26,999 USD which roughly translates into  16L+ INR. And if the Roadmaster is brough to India, the hefty import taxes and customs are going to add up to make the final price of somewhat between 33 to 35lac INR.
