Kawasaki to launch Ninja Z250SL, ZX6R 636 and Vulcan S in India. Price, main specs inside.

In the recent past, Bajaj has been on a spree to launch new performance motorcycles in India and they're still not done with it. Moreover, their partner in crime, Kawasaki, is also going to join them soon. Kawasaki is planning to give us Indians the taste of their performance and reliability once again. The dishes in the oven this time are the already talked-about naked Z250SL, the fully fared typical mid-sized superbike ZX6R 636 and and a Harley-type (yeah, that's a custom-term I hear a lot from laymen!) cruiser Vulcan S.

Its official, Bajaj will launch Pulsar CS400 in 2015-16 fiscal year itself.

Bajaj has been on a spree of launching new models off late, with bringing out Pulsar RS200, AS200 and AS150 within a tiny span of time. And they don't seem in the mood of stopping either. If the blokes at an online automobile based website Motoroids are to believed, the Pulsar CS400 is not very far from getting its share of daylight. If we go by some earlier reports, the motorcycle manufacturer had planned to introduce 6 new models under brand Pulsar in 6 months. Out of which, we have already seen the RS200, AS200 and AS150. The CS400 could very well be one of the rest three. Or atleast, we'd like it to be!

KTM to stop manufacturing street-legal superbikes. Says they are too dangerous for public roads.

The new (ok, not so!) motorcycle manufacturer KTM, who has managed to grab the eyeballs of motorcycle enthusiasts in India, just made a statement which might sound heartbreaking to most of us. KTM has officially declared that they will not be making street-legal superbikes anymore. The logic they justify this bitter decision being that these machines have gone too far in the quest of more and more power and now in no way represent practicality. The international motorcycle industrty has just recently seen every major manufacturer bringing out their flagship models with power output crossing the 200bhp mark. This much of power is nowhere close to what any rider would use on the public roads. The practicality has taken a back seat and these monsters are, for sure, can prove to be quite dangerous if unleashed on public roads. Well, all this has been KTM's logic to come up to the decision of stopping the manufacturing of superbikes for public roads.

Bajaj Launches its 'Adventure Sports' line-up. Reveals Pulsar AS200 and AS150 main specs, features and price.

Looks like the chaps at Bajaj Auto have sworn of raining the market with their products off late. While the new RS200 is still keeping people busy gawking wide-eyed on it, the automaker has already put forward another potential crowd-puller in front of us. Today, they have launched another line-up into their products, calling it Adventure Sports. The new line-up, as the name itself suggests, is to comprise sports touring and probably off-roading focused motorcycles. As of now, they have placed two if their much anticipated new products in the line-up, namely Pulsar AS200 and PulsarAS150. These motorcycles are essentially great options for touring enthusiasts who have always felt neglected in the crazy-for-faired-machines kind of market we have here.

DSK-Benelli starts up strong. Receive 300 bookings in the first week itself!

It hasn't been so long ago when DSK shook hands with the Italian motorcycle maker Benelli to bring some of their offerings to Indian market. Hardly a fortnight ago, DSK-Benelli announced the prices for their current offerings in the market and they have already received 300 bookings. Considering the presence of Benelli in India and the recent past of DSK, the bikes aren't priced too low if not a bit on the higher side. But the Italian beauties have still managed to get a good start. Though, it is too early to say anything as they are quite new here and the sales as well as service network is not quite well established yet either. But the way things are turning up at initial level deserve to have a corner of every enthusiast's eye on the company's progression.

Hero might soon launch an Impulse 250, right after HX250R.

Back then, it was a joy to the ears of touring and offroading enthusiasts in India when Hero MotoCorp announced about the launch of its 'Transroader', a word Hero used to describe its Onroad/Offroad motorcycle, Impulse. When it was finally launched, the numbers in the sales sheets went pretty well initially. But on a longer run, it was constantly losing the numbers compared to as expected on the sales front. The downfall can, ofcourse, be attributed to the underpowered mill doing its duty under its saddle. However, sensing the problem, Munjal(s) decided to halt its production which was dissappointing for a large number of enthusiasts as it was one of a kind.Though the bike was discontinued with a note stating that they'll bring the great product back with bigger displacement motor.

KTM CEO confirms RC390 launch in 2014.

In typical fashion, there is a direct connection to motorsports. The “ADAC Junior Cup powered by KTM” will see the RC 390 in action for the first time worldwide as the exclusive motorcycle used in this Brand Cup competition.

Naturally it is not difficult for the sports motorcycle manufacturer from Mattighofen, Austria, to make the connection between racing and series production. In short: as always, KTM once again underlines that it is always “Ready to Race” in every aspect by presenting the RC 390 Cup at the eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.
