Bajaj has been on a spree of launching new models off late, with bringing out Pulsar RS200, AS200 and AS150 within a tiny span of time. And they don't seem in the mood of stopping either. If the blokes at an online automobile based website Motoroids are to believed, the Pulsar CS400 is not very far from getting its share of daylight. If we go by some earlier reports, the motorcycle manufacturer had planned to introduce 6 new models under brand Pulsar in 6 months. Out of which, we have already seen the RS200, AS200 and AS150. The CS400 could very well be one of the rest three. Or atleast, we'd like it to be!

Bajaj Launches its 'Adventure Sports' line-up. Reveals Pulsar AS200 and AS150 main specs, features and price.
Looks like the chaps at Bajaj Auto have sworn of raining the market with their products off late. While the new RS200 is still keeping people busy gawking wide-eyed on it, the automaker has already put forward another potential crowd-puller in front of us. Today, they have launched another line-up into their products, calling it Adventure Sports. The new line-up, as the name itself suggests, is to comprise sports touring and probably off-roading focused motorcycles. As of now, they have placed two if their much anticipated new products in the line-up, namely Pulsar AS200 and PulsarAS150. These motorcycles are essentially great options for touring enthusiasts who have always felt neglected in the crazy-for-faired-machines kind of market we have here.

Hero might soon launch an Impulse 250, right after HX250R.
Back then, it was a joy to the ears of touring and offroading enthusiasts in India when Hero MotoCorp announced about the launch of its 'Transroader', a word Hero used to describe its Onroad/Offroad motorcycle, Impulse. When it was finally launched, the numbers in the sales sheets went pretty well initially. But on a longer run, it was constantly losing the numbers compared to as expected on the sales front. The downfall can, ofcourse, be attributed to the underpowered mill doing its duty under its saddle. However, sensing the problem, Munjal(s) decided to halt its production which was dissappointing for a large number of enthusiasts as it was one of a kind.Though the bike was discontinued with a note stating that they'll bring the great product back with bigger displacement motor.

[SCOOP]: The new Bajaj Pulsar 150AS spied while being tested!
After the news about Pulsar 200AS being spotted along with 200RS doing rounds on internet, the smaller Pulsar 150AS is reported to be spotted testing by someone at Autocar. As can be guessed from the pictures through that huge watermark, the motorcycle borrows its design and asthetics from the bigger sibling 200AS. The engine though being a 150cc liquid-cooled, triple spark one churning out 17PS of power and 13Nm of torque.

BMW's answer to Ducati Multistrada: The BMW S1000F!
The reknowned German automaker BMW has been caught testing a motorcycle which could most probably compete with the Ducati Multistrada for being a highly multipurpose (or rather, multi-terrain) premium motorcycle in the world. The BMW S1000F will be Bavarians' much awaited answer to Multistrada and will be based on their flagship motorcycle, the faired S1000RR. It is expected that the bike will make its first public appearance at Intermot 2014 in October.

DAY-2: Delhi-Dehradun-Mussoorie-Delhi ride.
Introduction and Prologue : Click Here!
Day-1 : Click Here!
DAY-2:
Woke up @ 8 a.m., got freshened and in the meanwhile we ordered a parantha and a cup of tea each as breakfast. Done with the gulping part, asked the hotel guys to open up the compartment where our bikes were parked @ night (well, it was a condition imposed by us to park our bikes in some locked lot in night). After bringing them out, we left our machines idling to warm them up meanwhile we got into our jackets, head lids etc. and we were ready to roll again. We started ripping down towards Company Garden visited the "bagh"... For us, there was not much to see, just an ordinary garden it was with a small but beautiful waterfall and green-house-like hut structure in the middle of it having various varieties of plants.A couple of pics @ Company Bagh...

DAY-1: Delhi-Dehradun-Mussoorie-Delhi ride.
Introduction and Prologue : Click Here!
DAY-1:
At 6:30 a.m., Ashish called me and told me that he will meet me @ Madhuban Chowk @ 7:00. Reached there at 7:15 and found him waiting for me. Shaked hands, confirmed about whether we will ride to the pre-planned destinations or some other place, and started ripping towards NH-1. We started rolling on the mighty 8-lane National Highway-1 with butter-smooth tarmac, ripping furiously around 100-110kmph with the cold breeze of early morning peeping inside our head lids through each and every possible way to pinch our faces with needle-like sleek blasts of coldness. But we, atleast I, enjoy such conditions as long as it doesn't get real creepy ;-)... Enjoying the initial moments of a much awaited(still surprising) ride with almost the whole body covered under layers of clothes, we kept on zipping fast through the metal cages (read four-wheelers) on the road. Being the smallest vehicle on the huge peice of tar-covered land, getting way past the lorries with due respect from the truckers is what encourages you to ride long, hard, safe and sensible :-)
Let me share some lines which I read somewhere on xBhp and the trip reminded me all those one-by-one as I faced the similar situations and experienced those beautiful lines which made a place in my heart from the day I read them. Will keep on sharing them throughout the log wherever I found them applicable :-)
Special thanks to OldFox sir, LP and Sachin Rao (all from xBhp) for penning down the ultimate feelings of a biker... The Pleasures of Motorcycling :-)
- The pleasure is in doing three-digit speeds for hours on end when most consider 60 as dangerous and 80 as fatal!!
- The pleasure is starting your bike's engine for a long-distance ride on a cold morning and listening to its steady comforting idle while you prepare for the ride.
