It hasn't been so long ago when DSK shook hands with the Italian motorcycle maker Benelli to bring some of their offerings to Indian market. Hardly a fortnight ago, DSK-Benelli announced the prices for their current offerings in the market and they have already received 300 bookings. Considering the presence of Benelli in India and the recent past of DSK, the bikes aren't priced too low if not a bit on the higher side. But the Italian beauties have still managed to get a good start. Though, it is too early to say anything as they are quite new here and the sales as well as service network is not quite well established yet either. But the way things are turning up at initial level deserve to have a corner of every enthusiast's eye on the company's progression.

Hero might soon launch an Impulse 250, right after HX250R.
Back then, it was a joy to the ears of touring and offroading enthusiasts in India when Hero MotoCorp announced about the launch of its 'Transroader', a word Hero used to describe its Onroad/Offroad motorcycle, Impulse. When it was finally launched, the numbers in the sales sheets went pretty well initially. But on a longer run, it was constantly losing the numbers compared to as expected on the sales front. The downfall can, ofcourse, be attributed to the underpowered mill doing its duty under its saddle. However, sensing the problem, Munjal(s) decided to halt its production which was dissappointing for a large number of enthusiasts as it was one of a kind.Though the bike was discontinued with a note stating that they'll bring the great product back with bigger displacement motor.
